So what am I writing here today? The holidays seasons are fully in play, the feast for the dead (Halloween), the harvest feast (Thanksgiving), the feast of Winter Solstice (Christmas), and the start of a new year. Isn’t it great to be full and provisioned for winter and the promise of rebirth in the Spring? That was the purpose of the feasting, make sure everyone had food and had blankets and clothing for the coming cold season. Humanity is all one tribe in this universe, it’s time we started acting like it.
I am reminded that the end of the year marks the third year of gifted life since my heart attack. I am grateful for everything that has transpired in these three years. Now to just make it until the good weather returns.
