I got my Christmas tree up. It's a Norfolk pine almost 3 ft tall. I haven't put any ornaments on it yet; I'll get to that eventually.

It's often dark when I walk. Here's some Honeysuckle under a street light with bare Cottonwoods.

These Honeysuckles have interesting street lamp lighting from the side.

I call this a feeder tree. It's just covered with berries for the critters to eat!

PXL_20251125_131615385.MP.jpg — Here's a doe and her offspring whom I ran into on my morning walk. Notice how the doe has one leg bent. This leg is injured. At the beginning of summer I would see her limping and it was really distressing to watch. Now in midfall I've noticed that the limp is not as marked, so she seems to have healed a bit. And in the meantime she's had a baby. So she seems to be handling her disability. Whew.

This was a threesome although I only got a picture of two of them.

And last but not least, a gray squirrel in my bird feeder eating black sunflower seeds.
