What exactly is happening under the East Wing?

Trumps new golden ballroom is replacing the East Wing.

Under the East Wing is the PEOC - The “Presidential Emergency Operations Center.” This was originally designed as a bomb shelter by FDR during WWII. Cheney & Rice rode out 9/11 there and it’s the most secure area of the White House - constructed to withstand a nuclear blast.

How does trumps ballroom impact this existing structure? I don’t believe for a moment that the demolition of the East Wing won’t affect this shelter.

I’m not big on conspiracy theories but I believe there is much, much more to the construction of this new ballroom than state dinners and parties for the uber wealthy. IN 2026 - VOTE. MAGA. OUT. ALL OF THEM.
