As we speak, U.S., Ukrainian and European officials are meeting in Geneva to discuss the disastrous "28-point peace deal."

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff, Mr. Trump’s special envoy, were meeting on Sunday with Ukraine’s delegation at the U.S. mission in Geneva, according to a U.S. official. Daniel Driscoll, the Army secretary, was also participating in the talks, the official added, saying that the discussions would include “more formal engagements with the U.S. leaders and Ukrainians to continue ironing out the peace agreement.”

A U.S. official told ABC News that there are plans for the U.S. delegation to hold a separate meeting with a Russian delegation. No details were provided about the location of the planned meeting with the Russians.

A European counter-proposal is one the table that "asks for a security guarantee that mirrors NATO’s Article 5 mutual-defense clause, demands that frozen Russian assets be used to reconstruct and compensate Kyiv and rejects Moscow’s demands that Kyiv cede unoccupied territory in the east."
Yesterday, U.S. Senators reported that Sec of State Rubio stated that the plan Trump is pushing Ukraine to accept is a “wish list” of the Russians and not the actual U.S. plan. apnews.com/...
U.S. senators critical of President Donald Trump’s approach to ending the Russia-Ukraine war said Saturday they spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio who told them that the peace plan Trump is pushing Kyiv to accept is a “wish list” of the Russians and not the actual U.S. plan.
Last night, Rubio tried to walk back his earlier statements to U.S. Senators by tweeting from his personal account that the peace proposal was authored by the U.S. and that it is a framework for negotiations.
He clarified that it is based on input from the Russian side.
He then added some weasel words that "But it is also based on previous and ongoing input from Ukraine" which implies that Ukraine was not included in the discussions this time.
French President Macron wrote this diplomatically worded tweet which clearly implies that Europe is not on board with this 28-point plan or the process behind it.

None of this is surprising from an administration that is incompetent, malevolent, compromised and beholden to Putin. Let’s make sure we keep the American People informed so that we all stand with Ukraine and not with the dictators and oligarchs who are circling Ukraine like vultures.
