Mayor Wu Rocks the piano. And a chainsaw!

I do not live in Boston.

The nuance of the city’s politics is likely lost on me.

The closest i came to Boston politics was working with an engineer who was Mayor Menino’s (RIP) brother in law who had some interesting insights. Like when his sister tired of sharing her morning coffee with her husband’s police detail and told him he was not running again.

i digress. Sorry.

Saw in the Globe this AM that Mayor Wu played with Yo-Yo MA recently and it put a smile on my face.

I like Mayor Wu.

for those who dont live in the Boston media market here’s my cliff notes on the Mayor.

Oh and She was just up to Nova Scotia to help get the Boston city Christmas tree (a tradition since 1971 to thank Boston for aid it provided in 1917) and didn’t look foolish with a chainsaw.

And She is an accomplished pianist who performed with YoYo Ma the other night with the BSO.

Now I don’t know if she has national ambitions but I sure would prefer a piano in the Oval Office over a button to order up diet cokes.

And while she is at it she can take a chainsaw to the hideously oversized flag pole the current occupant installed!
