I can’t wait for the day when kids are taught right. Can you? So how is that working out?
Texas passed a law that 50 parents can get together and decide what is ‘right thinking’ for a school district as it burns er.. bans books.
Universities are caving in and firing teachers and the Texas A&M paid out 3.5M to the President that could have been spent on students or lowering admission fees. Let’s get rid of those historical voices that don’t fit the narrative.
As we can see in the Happy Children Training camp we know that for profit colleges are working great. Likewise the charter schools have had their own abuses.
Instilling Good Christian values while ignoring one of the key verses of the new testament sends at best a mixed message and families have sued to remove the 10 commandments after AG Paxton sued districts to display the 10 commandments. Amazing how the AG of a State doesn’t know the constitution. Perhaps he got his education in Texas schools. But… then again, so did I, so how can our views differ? Hmmm….
This country was founded on Religious Freedom and that includes freedom from Religion if you so desire and Christian Nationalism is UnAmerican and UnPatriotic.
I have always felt I was on the outside looking in for my religion. I can only imagine those less accepted and now persecuted by the state must feel.
Time to jump on the band wagon Mrs. Vance. That is, if you want the same support for the heir to the throne.
I believe in God. I believe we are all children of God. If you believe in God, then God by definition is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. To say otherwise is blasphemy. Therefore we can only conclude that if God wanted one religion, there would be one religion. There would be no religious discord.
So the problem is not God nor Spirituality, it is us.
And once leadership loses its insecurities and embraces the diversity of God’s children, then maybe the rats get cleaned out and the Happy Child Training camp is fixed up and welcomes all. And maybe we throw out the models that don’t work and embrace school systems and concepts that do.
However, to do that, a lot of vested interests would have to be removed from obstructing the path.
