Vote Aftyn For Congress on December 2nd!
According to an Emerson Poll released today, Democratic nominee Aftyn Behn is only 2 points behind (which means statistically tied within the MOE of +/- 3.9%), in the Special Election for Tennessee’s 7th District seat in the United States House of Representatives. This is in line with the Democratic Party overperforming in the recent November 4th elections in New Jersey, Virginia, and other states — as well as in other special elections held since the 2024 Election.
Here’s how you can make a difference. If you live near Nashville, contact the campaign to see how you can help. I spent much of the year down there for the 2000 Gore Presidential Campaign.
If Behn wins, watch out for full-scale panic in the Republican Party in the coming weeks. Could the Democrats regain the US House of Representatives before the 2026 Midterm Elections? Let’s win the US House of Representatives, then the US Senate, and, finally, the White House. It’s about time!
If you can, please donate to Aftyn Behn’s Campaign. Thank you.
A new Emerson/The Hill survey of the special election for US Congress in Tennessee’s 7th district finds 48% of voters support Matt Van Epps (R) and 46% support Aftyn Behn (D).

According to her Act Blue website, here’s what you need to know about this terrific Democratic candidate for the US House of Representatives.
Thanks for your support.
A pissed-off social worker, Aftyn has seen firsthand how broken systems fail the very people they’re meant to protect. She’s now running for Congress after the so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill” passed — the largest transfer of wealth from working people to the rich in American history.
She’s fighting to shift power to where it belongs: in the hands of the communities that make Tennessee and this country strong. Support her campaign by making a donation today!

Here’s an effective campaign ad citing Aftyn Behn’s support for several pressing policy issues — affordability, reducing the costs for groceries, improving healthcare, and protecting Social Security!

Pete Hegseth trying to please his pedophile führer with a court-martial of American hero Mark Kelly is going to end very badly for Hegseth. When America finally has its Nuremberg trials, most of the officials in fascist authoritarian Trump regime are going to end up in prison.

A new YouGov poll finds only 11% of respondents said they expected there to be arguments about politics at their Thanksgiving celebration.
Over 30% said they’re at least somewhat likely to discuss politics at their dinner, but for the vast majority of U.S. adults, they don’t expect arguments this year.
