It’s Thanksgiving Week Friday. The panic is over, but the chaos continues.

I’m away from the microphone this morning, but we’ve got a brand new KITM ready for you, to keep you company, while you’re eating your leftovers.

63 days until funding for most of the government ends again, and we face another shutdown
1,149 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
340 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
401 days—if we have those elections—until we seat that new Congress.

Our random country generator says, today’s an unlucky day for: Cyprus!

The great thing about calling Cyprus’ name today is that it’s perhaps the next best thing to invading Turkey on Thanksgiving.
