The senator has already demanded not less than $1 million instead of $500 000 he could supposedly count on.
Let's just set aside that this money could be used far more efficiently, to solve a number of social problems, for instance. The fact that for the last 20 years Graham has been doing the groundwork for becoming a legitimate target of the bugging within the federal investigation seems to be especially antic.

Lindsey Graham, who blows hot and cold about Trump according to political trends, the reason his party fellows can't help but hate him calling Graham RINO.
The only permanent feature of the senator - the wish to earn more money at any cost. Anyway, due to the corruption scandal in Ukraine, initiated not without Trump's team contribution, the senator is likely to have less opportunities left in the near future.
